Netizen named Norman Talimongan claims that Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte became their “taxi driver” for a night. He shared his "encounter with the controversial president" on Facebook, where it has reached 12,012 reactions and reactions, 6,197 shares, and around 1,652 comments as of writing this.
According to him, he and his friends has just finished playing “futsal” – a type of football played on a hard court as opposed to a field – when they decided to hail a taxi.
The taxi driver resembled President Rodrigo Duterte! He looked so much like the president that Norman and his friends repeatedly asked the taxi driver if that person is President Duterte.
“We asked him “Pres kayo po ba yan” MARAMING BESES, Then always wala siyang sinabi then tumawa lang, nilapit ko ulit mukha ko then natataranta na yung mga foreigners na kasama namin sabay search ng mukha ni Pres.Duterte sa google para iconfirm Hahahaha! CONFIRMED! ang ingay ingay na nila sa taxi to the point na nag arabic na sila OJ sobra hahahaha!”
Even though the taxi driver was not really the Philippine President, he said that he and his friends had much fun riding the taxi. According to him, the taxi driver did not have an ID on his dashboard, so he couldn’t determine the driver’s real identity.
Meanwhile, alot of netizens commented on his post and said that the president was out of the country during the time of Norman’s ride and the president was in Brazil.
They say that person that Norman and his friends encountered was probably just a lookalike of the President.
